Hi,

I'm part of the team developping Tails [1], a live system based on Tor.

We are thinking about replacing our current email client with Icedove
(the unbranded version of Mozilla Thunderbird available in Debian).

And we were wondering whether you'd ever thought about making a
equivalent of HTTPS-Everywhere for Thunderbird. First it would help the
autoconfig to choose a strong set of IMAP/POP/SMTP parameters and then
prevent the user to downgrade them.

We understand that this will be, technically speaking, a totally
different project than HTTPS-Everywhere but still with a similar idea in
mind.

Does that makes sense?
