Hi,

I'm trying to access the DB using EC2 guide.https://www.eff.org/pages/howto-using-ssl-observatory-cloud
It says :search for: snap-9010a2fc , when I do so, I get: No Items found. Please, let me know how can I access the DB ?

Thanks & Regards,
Eman

Bonjour,

2012/7/23 Eman Salem <alashwali_em at yahoo.com>

I could find a csv file named: valid-certs.csv , I guessed that I can use these as domain names, although some of them apparently not valid domain name, so I might be wrong.

However, I need a list of domain names for ssl observatory scan, I prefer to get the domain names for the hosts that responded and provided a certificate. I need this as soon as possible please for my research. I will really appreciate your kind help. Thanks.

EFF didn't scan by starting from a list of domain names, they scanned the IPv4 address space, and stored the received certificates. There's no IP <-> domain-name mapping.
Using the EC2 guide to request the database is easy and cheap.
