[HTTPS-Everywhere] Possible mentor for Google Summer of Code?

Hello everyone,
I have been playing with an idea that I would like to commit a Google
Summer of Code project to, and would like to know if anyone out there
would consider taking on the role of being a mentor. It is my
understanding that the EFF has joined this year's Google Summer of Code
alongside the Tor Project, but I have really not seen anything about the
projects that the EFF has mentors assigned for. Allow me to try to
summarize my project idea. In a talk about the Tor ecosystem, Jacob
Appelbaum mentioned that there was a desire to incorporate some
functionality into HTTPSEverywhere that would alert other users when a
domain that would have been expected to support HTTPS no longer does.
This is the sort of functionality I would like to develop this Summer as
part of the GSoC event. I'd love to hear back from anyone who might be
interested in mentoring me for this project.
Thank you.
