Hi,
Sorry to hear that you are having this problem with running OpenWireless
on your WNDR3800.
At the moment I am running LibreCMC <https://librecmc.org/> on the
WNDR3800, I have no experience running OpenWireless on it.
My first try would be to check out the 'what if it is bricked' section
of this page:

Perhaps that could help you.
