Hi!

The massive network here in spain is called guifi http://www.guifi.net.

We are currently testing a new firmware, www.qmp.cat,  for automatic mesh setup instead of the current infrastructure mode. It automatically detects an internet connection and shares it with the network.

Also dont forget the free network foundation which is working on building new networks in the us. http://www.thefnf.org
