[OpenWireless Tech] The police came to the AP owner first, then sniffed the air to find real culprit

Just saw this through dslreports.com morning links today

The story invokes a child porn consumer leeching from a neighbor's open wifi, but the police came to the AP owner first. I wonder what the AP Owner went through before the police moved on to look for the real target. Were computers looked through or taken from AP owner?
