Hi,

regarding the Etisalat/RIM Backdoor and the abuse of the code signing
certificate by Etisalat and
https://www.eff.org/deeplinks/2010/08/open-letter-verizon:

Cryptographically the SSL CA certificate (serial number 0x40003f1) is not
broken. It is the company itself (Etisalat) which showed bad indent and
gross neglect.

Is there any statistic available how many HTTPS sites use certificates that
are signed Etisalat or any of its subsideries or the umbrella company
Etisalat Services Holding LLC?
