Support for SHA-2 was first added to the Windows CryptoAPI in XP SP3, which
means that IE6, IE7 and IE8 on XP SP 2 cannot do SHA-2. So unfortunately,
there are still a significant number of users with browsers/OSes that don't
support SHA-2.
