As previously mentioned, on 22 and 23 March 2015, those who are
collaborating on the development of the Manila Principles will be
meeting together in (naturally enough) Manila, Philippines to finalize
and launch them. The meeting is a special satellite event of RightsCon
Southeast Asia which will run over the following two days at the same
venue, separately organized by Access, EngageMedia and Foundation for
Media Alternatives.

The registration form for the Manila Principles meeting is now
available, and you are invited to complete it before 22 February 2015:

http://goo.gl/forms/4Grt6jDfDM

Note that this is not a registration form for RightsCon (and vice versa
- their registration form is not a registration form for the Manila
Principles). If you intend to attend both meetings, you need to
complete both forms. (The RightsCon registration form and information
is at https://rightscon.org/.)

Besides allowing you to register for the meeting, the form above also
allows you to propose a presentation or panel session for the event,
relating to your research or activism in relation to intermediary
issues. The agenda has been left open while we are developing the
principles, and will remain flexible until about early March. We will
then finalize the agenda to balance our time between work on the
principles and other sessions based on how close we are by then to
finalizing the text.

Some travel support may be available for selected delegates, though this
is very limited and will be distributed on the basis of need and with a
view to ensuring diversity of the group. If you have the means to make
your own way to Manila for the meeting (or are receiving support to
attend RightsCon, and can stretch it to cover the two preceding days)
then please do so rather than seeking travel support from the Manila
Principles project.
