[HTTPS-Everywhere] 2018.2.26 compatible with FF/ESR?

I'm running version 2018.1.29 of HTTPS Everywhere in Firefox ESR.

Is it safe to upgrade to version 2018.2.26 using FF/ESR? I must inquire with each add-on because some of the newer versions of FF add-ons don't work with FF/ESR or install with success but don't function correctly.

Also, will future updates support FF/ESR?
