No, encrypted *does not* have all the capabilities. Compare the attached
screenshots: encrypted.google.com lacks the top menu, where you can
switch between Web/Pictures/Videos/Maps/News/Mail and more, and switch
to Google+, and it misses the doodles. Regarding security, the only
difference is that when clicking on advertisements www.google.com sends
a referrer while encrypted.google.com does not. When clicking on search
results, no referrer is sent in both cases (using https).
