[HTTPS-Everywhere] Submitting patches - mail or pull?

Hello, I created a few patches to the Firefox plugin.
What is the preferred way to submit those?
I pushed the changes to separate branches on my github
account, is it enough to issue a pull request here, or
should I "git format" the changes and email them
somewhere (or here)?
