[HTTPS-Everywhere] Functionality question: Akamai URL rewrite?

Does anyone know of a *reliable *way to rewrite Akamaized URLs? I can make
them work if I ignore certificate authenticity (e.g. a1234.b.akamai.net uses
an SSL cert that is only valid for z9999.y.akamai.net), but this is not a
viable solution in production.
