[HTTPS-E Rulesets] Trouble sending patch to list

Hello,

Twice I have e-mailed a patch to https-everywhere-rules at lists.eff.org,
but it does not show up in the archives.  The format of the e-mail is
just the output of 'git format-patch', beginning and ending with the
delimiting dashes.

What might I be doing wrong?  Is it being spam filtered?  Do I need to
subscribe to e-mail the list?  Not sure this e-mail will get through...
