The correct place to ask is the https-everywhere-rules at eff.org mailing list.
We'll update the FAQ.

L.A.B., what settings do you have in Advanced->Encryption->Protocols?
https://www.freedomboxfoundation.org works for me in Iceweasel 9 and Firefox
12 with TLS 1.0 enabled (it's probably also good to disable SSLv3).

On the page "https://www.eff.org/https-everywhere/faq" paragraph entitled
"Q. What if HTTPS Everywhere breaks some part of a site I use?" , it says
that problems can be reported, but no address is given so I am using your
address. Please provide an address.

I use Debian Squeeze and Firefox 10.

When I visit the site "www.freedomboxfoundation.org" , I receive the
following
message:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
 "Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to www.freedomboxfoundation.org.

Cannot communicate securely with peer: no common encryption algorithm(s).

(Error code: ssl_error_no_cypher_overlap)

The page you are trying to view can not be shown because the
authenticity of
the received data could not be verified. Please contact the website
owners to
inform them of this problem. Alternatively, use the command found in
the help
menu to report this broken site."
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When I disable the addon there is no problem. There is an entry in
the "preferences" section of the addon for "Freedombox Foundation" and
this is
ticked.

It is somewhat ironic that an organisation that is trying to protect
internet
users has its site blocked by another organisation that is trying to protect
internet users.

Please can you help?
