Hello everybody - thank you, for putting me on the list.

My name is Marcus Prem and i am inverstigating mobile security since
2012, for my thesis (in 2013) "Detection and protection of attacks on smart
phones in mobile networks".
Also things like silent-sms, SS7 attacks, baseband fuzzing, SIM-card
cloning... was part of the thesis. Not that i've tried it all by myself
- it's more like a catalogue of possible attacks.

Since then i had the chance to work in a few projects like:

- AIMSICD (Open Source Android imsi-catcher detector) - a prove
of concept, to detect catchers with an Android phone.

- SDR-Detector ("Fake tower" scanner and tracking detector with Software
Defined Radio). This was a project for a NGO and we could open source it
afterwards.

- I wrote some articles (about catchers and mobile security) for
security blogs and the pirates party.

Currently i am gathering information about the "next generation" of fake
cell towers and i try to setup a Ubuntu image, that is working with
openLTE and a cheap RTL-SDR.

I am looking forward to share ideas/information/code with you
Cheers Marcus
